PREVIEW: ITZY to perform on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert
South Korean girl group, ITZY is set to make a special appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert once it returns later this month.
According to online rumours, the group’s guest slot is expected to air on the 22nd of July.
In just three days time, the group will release yet another EP, before beginning their world tour. ITZY has already released a teaser for their new lead single to promote the new mini-album release, with track, Sneakers.
Fans are already reacting to the news of the group’s upcoming appearance on the US late night show. One user reacted, saying, “gotta give props to Colbert for allowing kpop appearances on his show. he really is inclusive & that’s awesome.”
Another wrote: “So ready for ITZY! It’s been too long girls”.
A variety of other KPop artists have appeared on The Late Show in the past, with previous performances from TWICE, Stray Kids and BTS.
When will The Late Show with Stephen Colbert return?
The CBS late night show is currently airing repeats whilst host, Stephen Colbert takes a well-deserved summer break. A number of other hosts including Fallon and Kimmel are also taking a rest from their desks until the end of the month.
The Late Show is expected to return to it’s normal schedule on the 18th of July.
Repeat episodes airing this week will include guests, Tom Segura on Wednesday night, Ronan Farrow on Thursday night and Representative Adam Kinzinger on Friday night.
