Bill Maher admits he is “negotiating” with Fox News to appear on channel
We’re not often shocked when Bill Maher makes headlines, but his recent decision to appear on Fox News came as quite the surprise.
Speaking on Howie Mandel’s podcast this week, Maher said: “I want to be. I’ve tried to be. And now, because of that and because I tweeted about it, now I am booked on Fox News, now we are negotiating and I’m going to do Tucker Carlson”.
Mandel was quick to say he would love to see the two television personalities go head to head.
Maher also revealed that he had been booked to appear on the conservative channel before. The host revealed: “He had offered me before, Tucker Carlson, and then I said absolutely right away. And then they came back and said – ‘Yeah but let’s just talk about the things we agree about’ – I’m like ‘No’, what sort of stupid way is that to have an interview?”
The comedian admitted he “can’t wait” to appear on the channel.
Fox News have been openly confident in their praise of Bill Maher in the past months, often releasing YouTube videos and website articles featuring the comedian’s recent political takes.
However – It seems viewers of Mandel’s podcast are divided on whether Maher should appear on Tucker Carlson Tonight in the near future.

Viewers tell Bill Maher: Don’t go on Tucker!
One user wrote this week, “Props to bill. He is one of the few liberals I see actually willing to go onto shows like daily wire and fox news. It’s a service to us all really. Allows me to see both sides of an argument and even where common ground can be found.”
Another however, failed to see the good in Maher appearing on the channel: “BILL MAHER – don’t do it. Tucker will cut you off, talk over you, go to a commercial, or end the interview.”
