Jeopardy! may finally have a champion who has what it takes to go on a long winning streak. So what happened on tonight’s episode?
No Jeopardy! champion has managed to put together a run longer than two or three games over the past few weeks. However, that could be changing thanks to the current champion.
Who is the current Jeopardy! champion?
Ryan Long is the current Jeopardy! champion. The rideshare driver from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania has a four-game winning streak, with earnings that total $86,600.
His competition on Thursday included Julie Ann Crommett, a diversity and inclusion strategist from Atlanta, Georgia, and Bradford Pearson, a journalist and author from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Long showed off his ability to dominate in the “Jeopardy!” round. He led with $10,600, while Pearson sat in a distant second with $2,600. Meanwhile, Crommett finished in third with $200.
Pearson made things a little more competitive after “Double Jeopardy!” finished. Long still led with $16,200 and Pearson had $9,600. Unfortunately for Crommett, she never gained momentum and ended up with $400.
“Final Jeopardy!” saw only Long answer correctly. He added $3,001 to his total. Long has now won five games and earned $105,801.

While Ryan Long answered correctly, his competition couldn’t do the same. Julie Ann Crommett wrote down “the Leaning Tower of Pisa” as her response while Bradford Pearson guessed “the Colossus of Rhodes.”
