Jimmy Kimmel announced that he once again tested positive for COVID-19. However, Jimmy Kimmel Live! will continue with the help of guest hosts.

Kimmel shared the news Tuesday night on Twitter. It comes just a little over two weeks after Kimmel first said he tested positive for COVID-19. In his place, comedian Mike Birbiglia hosted a handful of shows before Kimmel eventually returned.

John Mulaney and Andy Samberg will fill in as guest hosts for the show on Wednesday, May 18. The Chip and Dale stars will welcome Cheryl Hines as the guest and introduce music from Gang of Youths.

Mulaney and Samberg were originally scheduled as guests before Kimmel made his COVID announcement public. But don’t expect the duo to run the show for the rest of the week. ABC plans to air repeat episodes after Wednesday night’s show.

Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert both have recurring COVID symptoms

The news from Jimmy Kimmel follows another late-night TV host who experienced a second bout of the novel coronavirus. Stephen Colbert only returned to The Late Show this week.

Colbert first missed a few Late Show episodes last month. On April 21, the show revealed that the host tested positive. Then it happened again on May 9, resulting in another hiatus for The Late Show.

According to Colbert, he’s feeling better. He didn’t show any signs of rust during his monologue in his first episode back.

As far as Jimmy Kimmel’s experience, the comedian seems to be in good spirits. On Twitter, he said credited his second bout of COVID with being “such a positive person.” Both Colbert and Kimmel have indicated they are vaccinated and received booster shots.

Jimmy Kimmel Live! airs at 11:35 p.m. ET on ABC.
