A brand new week of Jeopardy! episodes kicked off on Monday night. Did our returning champion win again or do we have a new player coming back tomorrow?

Ryan Long, a rideshare driver from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, became the latest Jeopardy! champion last Friday. He boasts one-day total winnings of $18,800.

Looking to knock him off today were Divya Badri, a software developer from Coal Valley, Illinois, and Nick Dee, a photographer from Los Angeles, California.

Ryan Long showed his experience at the buzzer in the “Jeopardy!” round. He finished in the lead with $8,600, followed by Nick Dee with $4,000 and Divya Bardi with $400.

However, things became a little more competitive in “Double Jeopardy!” however. Long remained in first with $16,200. Dee wasn’t too far behind at $14,600, while Bardi struggled more and wound up with $4,000.
