Mattea Roach is closing in on 20 consecutive Jeopardy! wins as she continues to climb the show’s all-time leaderboard. So how did she do on Friday night?
Roach entered tonight’s game with 18 wins in a row, good for $438,183 in winnings. That total places the tutor from Toronto, Ontario, Canada sixth on the Jeopardy! all-time list of winningest players in regular play.
Friday, she faced off against Terri Huggins, an associate director of admissions from New York, New York, and Julian Glander, an animator from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The games haven’t been as easy this week for Mattea Roach. She hasn’t always jumped out the early leads that fans are used to seeing. Tonight, she actually finished the “Jeopardy!” round in second place. Julian Glander led with $4,200, followed by Roach with $3,400, and Terri Huggins with $1,200.
