Late-night TV fans tuning in with hopes to see Jimmy Kimmel Live! tonight will need to draft new plans. The show will be bumped in favor of ABC’s coverage of the 2022 NFL Draft.

Televised coverage of the draft is scheduled to begin at 8:00 and run until 11:30 p.m. ET. That’s three and a half hours dedicated to just the first round. The later rounds will continue throughout the weekend.

For late-night TV audiences, it means they lose a night with Jimmy Kimmel. The veteran host typically doesn’t air new shows on Fridays, so it amounts to an extra day off for Kimmel and his team.

Once the NFL Draft wraps up tonight, most audiences will see local news coverage. Then, ABC will air a repeat episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, likely sometime around midnight if everything goes according to schedule.

For those interested, it will be the April 20 episode. Viewers get another chance to see a guest lineup that includes Nicolas Cage, Vanessa Bayer, and Noah Cyrus.

What to watch instead of Jimmy Kimmel Live! tonight

If you don’t care about the NFL draft and still want some late-night TV laughs, you’ll have options. Here’s what’s on tonight.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon will have a new episode on NBC at 11:35 p.m. ET. The guests will include Christina Ricci, Diplo, and Miguel.

Later, catch Late Night with Seth Meyers at 12:35 a.m. Andrew Garfield, Mary Louise Parker, and Fred Eltringham join the show.

Fresh off announcing he’s leaving The Late Late Show next year, James Corden has a new episode tonight. Molly Shannon, Josh Groban, and Giveon will appear on the CBS show, starting at 12:35 a.m.

Finally, you can catch Daniel Ricciardo on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. The show starts at 11:00 p.m. on Comedy Central.
