Is The Late Show with Stephen Colbert new tonight, April 21?
By Matt Moore
It’s Thursday night, meaning the weekend is in sight. For late-night TV fans, it also means one more night to watch The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. So what should they expect to see on CBS tonight?
As usual, Stephen Colbert has had a big week of guests so far. He’s talked to Julia Roberts, Neil deGrasse Tyson, and Alexander Skarsgård.
Unfortunately, the late-night TV host won’t be adding a new name to that list on Thursday. There will not be a new episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight.
Instead, CBS will reair the April 5 episode. Those interested will get another chance to see guests Josh Brolin and The Who.
Some Late Show fans may be extra disappointed that Colbert and company have the night off. Surely some viewers are eager to hear him respond after podcast host Joe Rogan called Colbert “weird.”
But it may be a while before Colbert gets the opportunity to react on TV. The Late Show is scheduled to be off Friday night as well as all of next week.
