It’s challenging to come up with a better word than “dominant” to describe Mattea Roach’s run on Jeopardy!. Was it more of the same on tonight’s episode?
Roach, a tutor from Toronto, Ontario, Canada has jumped out to early, often insurmountable leads during her 11-game winning streak. Along the way, she’s banked $244,882 to rank in the top 15 highest earners in regular Jeopardy! play.
Two more players tried their luck at ending Roach’s streak on Wednesday night. They were Sean Wong, an IT support student from Wayzata, Minnesota, and Loni Lewis, a teacher and librarian from Charleston, South Carolina.
