For the second night in a row, Jeopardy! aired a new episode. And for the second night in a row, it featured a new champion.
Margaret Chipowsky, an attorney from Lawrenceville, New Jersey, earned the right to play on Tuesday night after ending Finn Corrigan’s winning streak. Chipowsky banked $18,800 on Monday night.
Tonight, her opponents included Caitlin Gillooly, an e-commerce professional from Boston, Massachusetts, and Mihir Nene, an engineer from Rochester, New York.
Who won Jeopardy! tonight?
The returning champion proved she was no fluke after the “Jeopardy!” round. Margaret Chipowsky got out to an early lead, totaling $7,200. Both Caitlin Gillooly and Mihir Nene finished the first set of questions with $4,600.
All three contestants had impressive scores after “Double Jeopardy!” ended. Once again, Chipowsky was in the lead with $20,600. Gillooly wasn’t far behind at $15,400 while Nene remained in striking distance with $12, 500.
In “Final Jeopardy!,” only Nene answered the final clue correctly. An aggressive wager helped give him the victory and make him the new Jeopardy! champion.

Mihir Nene answered correctly and nearly doubled his total. Caitlin Gillooly guessed “What is the Brave Little Soldier?” while Margaret Chipowsky incorrectly came up with “What is The Little General?”
