For late-night TV and comedy fans, tonight is all about Saturday Night Live. But should they expect to see a brand new episode on NBC?

SNL has aired new episodes in back-to-back weeks leading to tonight. John Mulaney returned for the fifth time, and Moon Knight star Oscar Isaac made his SNL debut.

Now, we’ll see another SNL debut. That’s because there will be a brand new episode of Saturday Night Live.

The Batman star Zoë Kravitz is tonight’s host. She’ll be joined by musical guest Rosalía, also making her SNL debut.

What to expect from Saturday Night Live tonight

After striking a more somber tone in February, Saturday Night Live found a way to apply comedy to the war in Ukraine last week. The cold open imagined Fox News and former President Donald Trump fundraising for Russia.

It will be interesting to see if SNL continues to go that route tonight. Perhaps it’s time for James Austin Johson to reappear as President Joe Biden.

Fans have also been on the lookout for Pete Davidson. He has not been on the show since the media frenzy around his relationship with Kim Kardashian, and Kanye West’s response, heated up.

No, Davidson hasn’t been in hiding. He’s been busy filming his starring role in the horror film The Home. It’s unclear if Davidson will be back in Studio 8H, but expect loud applause if he does show up tonight.

Saturday Night Live airs tonight at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBC. The show will also stream live on Peacock.
