Real Time with Bill Maher returned last week to kick off season 20 of the HBO late-night show. So what should fans expect to see tonight?

Maher, now the longest-tenured late-night host, showed no signs of rust last Friday. He picked up right where he left off, making headlines for his reaction to the headlines.

Fans can expect more of the same as Maher takes the stage again on Friday. There will be a brand new episode of Real Time with Bill Maher tonight.

Bill Maher’s monologue should have plenty to work from on Friday night. Russian activity in Ukraine, Justice Stephen Breyer’s retirement and the latest from the January 6 committee could all be on the table.

Who’s on Real Time with Bill Maher tonight?

First up, Bill Maher interviews Ira Glasser. Glasser makes his first visit to Real Time tonight. He served as executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union from 1978 to 2001.

The panel features one first-timer and one returning guest in Fiona Hill and Matt Welch, respectively.

Hill is the former Senior Director at the U.S. National Security Council. She specialized in Russian and European affairs, so expect her to weigh in on the current crisis in Ukraine.

Welch is a journalist and blogger who hosts The Reason Roundtable podcast and co-hosts The Fifth Column podcast. Recently, Welch has covered the debate over mask mandates in schools. He may bring that topic to tonight’s Real Time panel.

“Overtime” also returns this week. Fans can submit their questions on Twitter using #RTOvertime. Bill Maher and his guests will answer on the show’s official YouTube channel.
