It’s officially December and that means millions of people are getting into the holiday spirit. Is the same true for Saturday Night Live and should fans expect a gift tonight?

The holidays are always a special time at SNL. From Halloween and Thanksgiving to Christmas and Hannukah, just about every holiday gets the Saturday Night Live treatment.

Unfortunately, fans will have to wait a bit for the 2021 edition of SNL’s Christmas and Hannuakah sketches. There will not be a new episode of Saturday Night Live tonight.

Instead, NBC will reair the October 16 episode. Audiences get another chance to see No Time to Die star Rami Malek host alongside musical guest Young Thug.

When does Saturday Night Live return?

Saturday Night Live was off last week as well for the Thanksgiving holiday. But the good news is that fans won’t have to wait long to see Pete Davidson, Cecily Strong, and the rest of the cast (minus Kate McKinnon) back in Studio 8H.

SNL returns on December 11. Grammy-winning singer/songwriter Billie Eilish will host and also serve as the musical guest. She’s the first to pull double duty since Nick Jonas did it last season.

The show will go back-to-back with new episodes when Paul Rudd hosts a fresh episode on December 18. He’ll be joined by musical guest Charli XCX.

In the meantime, fans can always check out SNL’s official YouTube channel to see any season 47 sketches they missed, cut for time sketches, and more. Peacock subscribers also have access to every season of SNL.
