Late-night TV fans went without The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last week. So what should audiences expect to see tonight on CBS?

As is typically the case, fans weren’t too thrilled to see another week of Late Show reruns. Some questioned Stephen Colbert’s schedule while others called for guest hosts. If nothing else, the outcry indicates Colbert’s prominent status in late-night TV.

But worry not fans. Things get back to normal on Monday. There will be a brand new episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight.

Expect Stephen Colbert’s monologue to catch up on some of the stories he missed while he was away as well as what happened over the weekend. That could include the latest on President Joe Biden’s infrastructure bill, the NFL’s email scandal, and what continues to come out of Trump World.

Who’s on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight?

First up, Stephen Colbert will interview Representative Adam Schiff. The California democrat became a national figure through his frequent clashes with former President Donald Trump. He should weigh in on the prospect of Trump 2024 as well as provide an update on Steve Bannon’s situation.

Schiff will also be on The Late Show to plug his new book, Midnight in Washington: How We Almost Lost Our Democracy and Still Could.

Then, country music superstar Kacey Musgraves joins the show as tonight’s musical guest. Late-night TV fans recently saw her on the season premiere of Saturday Night Live. Now, she’s on The Late Show to promote her new album Star-Crossed.

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert airs tonight at 11:35 p.m. ET on CBS. Sign up for fuboTV to stream the show and more from the network.
