The Late Show with Stephen Colbert returned last week after an extended summer break. Will late-night TV’s top-rated show make it two in a row starting tonight?
Fans became a little restless after seemingly repeat after repeat to close out July and start off August. But a refreshed and recharged Late Show returned, taking on the latest headlines from Washington and delivering quality celebrity interviews.
The Ed Sullivan Theater will be packed again on Monday night. There will be a brand new episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
Expect Colbert to weigh in on the situation in Afghanistan. Other topics he could discuss include the latest on the pandemic and more conspiracy theories coming from the right.
Who’s on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight?
First up, Stephen Colbert interviews Dr. Jonathan LaPook. The internal medicine and gastroenterology physician serves as CBS’ chief medical correspondent.
Dr. LaPook should provide insight on the vaccine rates and where the country stands on the pandemic as the summer winds down and more schools prepare to reopen.
