We’re in the final stretch of June and much of the country is in the midst of a heatwave. Meanwhile, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert has been hot since it welcomed back a live studio audience. Will that trend continue?

There has been a noticeable shift in the energy and vibe at The Late Show after fully vaccinated audience members were allowed back inside the Ed Sullivan Theater. Stephen Colbert has made it clear that he much prefers telling jokes to a crowd and the host appears rejuvenated after a year-plus of at-home shows.

There’s no reason to expect anything different on Monday. There will be a brand new episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight.

Colbert’s monologue could check back in on Rudy Giuliani and his ongoing legal troubles, review Donald Trump’s rally in Ohio, or provide the latest updates in the “Vax-Scene.”

Who’s on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight?

First up, Stephen Colbert will interview Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg. Anticipate Colbert asking Buttigieg what the first few months of the Biden administration have been like from the inside. Then, the conversation should shift to President Joe Biden’s efforts to pass a bipartisan infrastructure bill.

Next, actress Katja Herbers joins The Late Show. She’ll be on to promote season two of her supernatural drama Evil. The new season kicked off last week on Paramount+ and is already getting fantastic reviews.

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert airs tonight at 11:35 p.m. ET on CBS. You can also watch The Late Show on Paramount+.
