No Friday in late night TV is complete without Real Time with Bill Maher. What should fans expect to see tonight on HBO?
Even in season 19, Bill Maher is going strong. Through the first 15 episodes, he has weighed in on topics ranging from cryptocurrency to cancel culture to President Joe Biden’s age.
Fans can anticipate more of the same on Friday night. There will be a brand new episode of Real Time with Bill Maher.
Maher’s monologue has plenty of material to draw from. President Biden’s meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, former President Donald Trump’s interview with Sean Hannity, and the latest COVID-19 numbers are all on the table.
Who’s on Real Time with Bill Maher tonight?
First up, Bill Maher will interview comedian Nikki Glaser. It will be her second time on Real Time follwing her April 2020 appearance.
Glaser can be heard on “The Nikki Glaser Podcast” and is set to host the dating reality show FBoy Island on HBO Max. She will also promote her new comedy tour, which should make Maher happy as someone eager to see life return to normal.
Tonight’s panel features one returning guest and one making their Real Time with Bill Maher debut.
Paul Begala is a political strategist who can be seen as a commentator on CNN. Begala was a strategist for Bill Clinton’s 1992 campaign and later served as an advisor to President Clinton. Expect him to weigh in on the current divide between Democrats and the GOP as well as the lasting influence of Donald Trump.
Jane Coaston is a journalist and hosts the podcast “The Argument” from the New York Times. The most recent episode featured a discussion on cancel culture and nuance with The Daily Show‘s Trevor Noah. She could share her thoughts on many topics, including the FBI-Capitol insurrection conspiracy theory and social conditions in the U.S.
