Last week, fans went without The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Will a new week bring brand new episodes of late night TV’s top-rated show?

The Late Show and most other late night shows took the week off following the Memorial Day holiday. It was a much-needed break for Stephen Colbert and company ahead of what will be a busy summer.

That busy stretch begins on Monday night. There will be a brand new episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight.

Expect Colbert to catch up on some of the stories he missed last week as well as from over the weekend. Former President Donald Trump’s conspiracy theories and recent public appearance, Senator Joe Manchin’s controversial decision, and vaccine updates are all on the table for Colbert’s monologue.

Who’s on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight?

First up, Stephen Colbert will interview Chris Matthews. The political commentator was the longtime host of Hardball on MSNBC before abruptly retiring.

Matthews is out promoting his new memoir This Country: My Life in Politics and History. Colbert usually performs at the top of his game with guests like Matthews so fans should expect an engaging conversation.

Then, actress and singer Cynthia Erivo joins The Late Show. She recently announced the release date of her debut album CH. 1 VS. 1 is coming in September. Erivo also released her first single, titled “The Good.”

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert airs tonight at 11:35 p.m. ET on CBS. You can also watch The Late Show on Paramount+.
