It’s Sunday night and for late night TV fans, that means it’s time for Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. What should viewers expect to see tonight on HBO?
Last Week Tonight continues to be among the best programs on television, regardless of genre. The past couple of weeks proved that with entertaining and thought-provoking pieces on sponsored content and Stand Your Ground laws.
Unfortunately, John Oliver won’t be building on that momentum tonight. There will not be a new episode of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver on HBO.
Tomorrow is Memorial Day, meaning that Last Week Tonight is likely observing the holiday and giving the team the night off. It’s something late night fans should expect to continue throughout the week on other shows.
Revisit the best of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver season 8…so far
With 13 episodes released this season, Last Week Tonight is roughly halfway through season eight. And so far, there’s no reason to think the show won’t add to its Emmy dominance.
