Michelle Obama returns to late night TV tonight

Former First Lady Michelle Obama will make her return to late night television on Tuesday night. You can catch her on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
Obama certainly has a lot to discuss. On the public side, she is working with the Partnership for a Healthier America to deliver healthy meal kits to communities around the country. This comes following the recent debut of her Netflix show Waffles + Mochi which also encourages healthy lifestyles.
The former FLOTUS has also been out advocating for people to get the COVID-19 vaccine. The Biden administration is ahead of schedule in terms of delivering the vaccine but there is still a drive to get as many people signed up as possible.
On the private life side, Michelle Obama will undoubtedly have a few things to share. Expect Stephen Colbert to ask how she spent Mother’s Day and what quarantine for the Obama family has looked like. The conversation may also hit on the recent passing of the Obama family dog, Bo.
Michelle Obama has a long history with late night television
Through her eight years as First Lady and the past four as a private citizen, Michelle Obama has made numerous late night TV appearances. Her popularity helps bring a wider audience to whichever show happens to be hosting her.
Obama has visited The Late Show a few times. Her most memorable appearance included showing off her Barack Obama impression.
She has also been on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Late Late Show with James Corden, The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, Late Night with Seth Meyers, and Conan.
Like we said, she is very, very popular. There’s no doubt that her appearance on The Late Show will be the highlight of Stephen Colbert’s week.
