Was Saturday Night Live new last night, May 1?

It’s been quite an interesting season for Saturday Night Live.
While we’re used to the occasional break or two during each new season, this season has been full of random hiatuses and extended stretches without new episodes of Saturday’s long-running sketch comedy series.
After taking most of March off, SNL finally returned to the airwaves on March 27 with what would kick off a string of new episodes hosted by Maya Rudolph, Daniel Kaluuya, and Carey Mulligan. However, not since April 10 have we been treated to a new episode of SNL leaving fans anxious for the next new episode of season 46 and wondering when new episodes would resume.
Because of these random breaks, it’s been hard to keep up with when new episodes will air especially if you happened to miss the episode when it aired live. Fortunately, that’s where we come in.
Was Saturday Night Live new on May 1, 2021?
Unfortunately, Saturday Night Live did not air a new episode on Saturday, May 1 and instead aired a repeat for the third straight week in a row.

The good news is that SNL will be returning to the airwaves with a new episode next weekend in an episode set to be hosted by Elon Musk with musical guest Miley Cyrus.
