Is Real Time with Bill Maher new tonight, April 30?
By Matt Moore
We’ve reach the end of April and the month closes out on a Friday. Will that mean a new episode of Real Time with Bill Maher, too?
Bill Maher has been on a roll in season 19 since it debuted back on Jan. 15. Since then, Real Time has only taken one week off. It may not have the same production workload as other late night TV shows, but fans should still appreciate how much content Maher has provided over the past few months.
That trend will continue tonight. There is a brand new episode of Real Time with Bill Maher on HBO.
As always, there is no shortage of topics for Maher to cover. President Joe Biden’s address to Congress, the raid on Rudy Giuliani, developments in the Matt Gaetz scandal, and the latest COVID-19 vaccine rates are all subjects Maher could discuss in his monologue, “New Rule” segment, or panel.
Who’s on Real Time with Bill Maher tonight?
Bill Maher starts the guest portion of the show by interviewing a returning guest. Author Ben Sheehan is back on Real Time.
He’s the author of the book OMG WTF Does the Constitution Actually Say? and runs the O.M.G. W.T.F. nonprofit organization dedicated to civic education. Given how much the Constitution is referenced in political debates by politicians and private citizens, it will be good to have an expert breaking it all down on tonight’s show.
Author Nancy MacLean also returns to Real Time with Bill Maher tonight as a panel guest. Her latest book is Democracy in Chains: The Deep History of the Radical Right’s Stealth Plan for America. She could share her thoughts on Georgia’s new voting laws and other efforts by the GOP to retain power.
Joining MacLean on the panel will be political analyst and journalist Thomas Frank. An expert in the relationship between culture and politics, Frank should have insight into the growing culture war and political divide gripping the country.
Real Time with Bill Maher airs tonight at 10:0 p.m. ET on HBO. You can also watch Real Time on HBO Max.
