The Late Show with Stephen Colbert kicked off the week with a brand new episode. Should fans expect another one tonight on CBS?

Stephen Colbert spent his monologue on Monday night updating viewers on the latest COVID-19 vaccine statistics, scandals involving Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene and Senator Ted Cruz, and more. It was followed up with interviews featuring The Father actor Anthony Hopkins and the film’s director, Florian Zeller as well as with Senator Mazie Hirono.

The bar was set pretty high but Colbert has a chance to match it on Tuesday. There will be a brand new episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight.

Expect more news on the pandemic in some form or another. Perhaps Colbert will join his fellow CBS late night host James Corden and weigh in on the proposed Super League in European soccer. It’s also possible we’ll get a verdict in the Derek Chauvin trial in time for Colbert to react.

Who’s on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight?

First, Stephen Colbert will interview music icon Cher. The singer/actress has turned her attention to political and social activism more recently and the interview should cover that tonight.

She’ll be on to promote her documentary Cher and the Loneliest Elephant. It is set to premiere on Paramount+ on April 22.

Then, country musician Sam Williams makes his late night television debut. As the grandson of legend Hank Williams, he should know how to put on a show.

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert airs tonight at 11:35 p.m. ET on CBS. You can watch The Late Show on Paramount+ or with FuboTV. Sign up now to enjoy a free seven-day trial.
