Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel are in a pizza cook-off

Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel aren’t all that competitive when it comes to late night television. But cooking pizza? That is a very different story as fans found out on Instagram.

Long gone are the days of the late night wars and feuds. That era came to an end after the Tonight Show debacle with Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien. The current crop of late night hosts are all friendly, often appearing on each other’s shows and collaborating in many different ways.

However, a friendly competition has broken out between Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel. Fallon recently posted a video on Instagram of his attempt at cooking a pizza inspired by Stanley Tucci and his CNN series Searching for Italy. The pizza looked like it came out fine and Fallon was proud of his work. Check out the video below:

Late night fans are probably aware that Jimmy Kimmel fancies himself to be a pretty good chef. His Instagram is filled with pictures and videos of his culinary creations. So Kimmel couldn’t stand by and let Fallon’s pizza be called “the best pizza ever.”

With a much more professional-looking setup, Kimmel cooked up his own pizza in response to Fallon’s video. Not only that, Kimmel offered some advice along the way and added the hashtag #LATENIGHTWARSAREBACK. Watch his video below:

Jimmy Kimmel is hoping to raise money for charity through his pizza challenge with Jimmy Fallon

It will be up to the fans to decide who won the pizza cook-off. Jimmy Kimmel’s Instagram post included details on how to cast your vote as well as make a $5 donation to No Kid Hungry.

Throughout the pandemic, Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, and other late night hosts have been organizing charity initiatives to help those who may be especially hurting during the pandemic. So not only is this pizza challenge entertaining content, but it’s for a good cause as well.

We’ll see how Fallon responds to Kimmel calling him out and dissing his pizza creation. Jimmy Kimmel Live! will air a new episode tonight so expect Kimmel to put even more eyes on his Instagram video.
