Is The Late Show with Stephen Colbert new tonight, March 30?
By Matt Moore
Fans were disappointed to see The Late Show with Stephen Colbert was off on Monday night. What should they expect to see tonight on CBS?
Getting through a Monday is never easy but it helps when The Late Show is waiting to close out the day. Audiences didn’t get to enjoy that last night as Stephen Colbert and company started the week with a night off.
Unfortunately, that trend will continue on Tuesday. There will not be a new episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight.
Instead, CBS will reair the episode from March 12. Viewers may recall that this was the date of a special episode commemorating the one-year anniversary of the novel coronavirus pandemic. It featured Stephen Colbert interviewing Dr. Anthony Fauci for the first time.
What to watch instead of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert
When The Late Show with Stephen Colbert takes a night off, late night television fans typically have plenty of options. However, that wasn’t the case last night and it’s the same story tonight.
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Late Night with Seth Meyers, and The Late Late Show with James Corden are among those shows also airing repeats tonight. But not everyone is on vacation.
Jimmy Kimmel Live! will air a new episode tonight. Jimmy Kimmel will welcome Bob Odenkirk, Nicole Byer, and Tate McRae to the show. It airs at 11:35 p.m. ET on ABC.
As always, you can find more Late Show content online as you wait for Stephen Colbert to return. Stream episodes on Paramount+ or check out the show’s official YouTube channel.
