Is The Late Show with Stephen Colbert new tonight, March 15?
By Matt Moore
Fans are hoping that The Late Show with Stephen Colbert can help get the week off on the right foot. What should they expect to see tonight on CBS?
Audiences were pleasantly surprised on Friday to see a brand new episode of The Late Show after Friday shows had become a rarity. Stephen Colbert was joined by Dr. Anthony Fauci for a special look back at the novel coronavirus’s one-year anniversary.
Colbert and company will be back at it on Monday. There will be a brand new episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight.
There are a handful of topics that Colbert could get into during his monologue. The continued reaction to President Joe Biden’s relief bill, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s scandal, and Jon Batiste’s Oscar nomination could all come up on tonight’s show.
Who’s on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight?
First, Stephen Colbert will talk with legendary musician Ringo Starr. Without the pandemic, we’d be treated to Starr returning to the Ed Sullivan Theater where the Beatles made their U.S. debut back in 1964.
Starr presented at the Grammys on Sunday night and is set to be the focal point of a new virtual exhibit from the Grammy Museum. Expect everything from Starr’s career to be on the table when he chats with Colbert.
Then, Colbert will interview Eric Andre. The comedian wrapped up season five of The Eric Andre Show last fall and followed that up with a voice role in the Netflix animated series Disenchantment.
Next, Andre stars in Bad Trip which he co-wrote and produced. The hidden camera comedy co-stars Lil Rel Howery and Tiffany Haddish and hits Netflix on March 26.
The Late Show with Stephen Colbert airs tonight at 11:35 p.m. EST on CBS. You can watch with a free seven-day trial of Fubo TV or with a Paramount+ subscription.
