Is Saturday Night Live new tonight, March 6?

Saturday Night Live has been on a roll, delivering several brand new episodes over the past few weeks. What should SNL fans expect to see tonight on NBC?
Saturday Night Live deserves a ton of credit for how it has been able to produce new shows while keeping the cast, crew, and audience safe. A key to that success has been grouping episodes together like it did to start season 46 and during the most recent run of new shows.
Last week, Nick Jonas hosted the fifth consecutive new episode. Things began all the way back on Jan. 30 when John Krasinski kicked off 2021 in Studio 8H.
But as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. There will not be a new episode of Saturday Night Live tonight.

At 10:00 p.m. EST, NBC will reair the March 5, 2011 episode. It features Miley Cyrus as the host and the Strokes as the musical guest. At 11:30, fans can rewatch the Dec. 19 episode with host Kristen Wiig and musical guest Dua Lipa.

Saturday Night Live fans are undoubtedly upset by the news. But at the same time, it was only a matter of time before SNL’s streak had to end. Thankfully, the show has left behind plenty of memorable sketches worth revisiting.
