Who’s hosting Saturday Night Live tonight, February 27?

Saturday Night Live is back tonight with a brand new episode, its fifth in a row. Even more exciting, tonight will be an SNL special event.
Since returning from a holiday hiatus, season 46 of SNL has given fans hosts John Krasinski, Dan Levy, Regina King, and Regé-Jean Page. As always, the episodes have been hit or miss but last week’s show with Bridgerton star Page is in contention for the season’s best.
We’ll have to wait to see if tonight’s episode can change that and be put in the conversation for SNL’s best work of season 46. The host will certainly play a major role.
Tonight, musician and actor Nick Jonas hosts for the first time. He’ll also serve as the musical guest, joining other recent double-duty hosts such as Chance the Rapper, Halsey, and Donald Glover.

Jonas has plenty to promote, both from his acting and music careers. He has a role in the upcoming sci-fi thriller Chaos Walking starring Tom Holland and Daisy Ridley. The movie hits theaters on March 5. Jonas’ fourth album Spaceman is set to be released on March 12.
While this will be Nick Jonas’ first time as host of SNL, he is no stranger to Studio 8H. He has performed as part of the Jonas Brothers and as a solo act. He has also done some sketch work in the past.

It is always a special episode with unique energy when the host and musical guest are one in the same. Nick Jonas brings with him a dedicated fanbase that is sure to tune in to see how he does in the Saturday Night Live spotlight.
