Is The Late Show with Stephen Colbert new tonight, February 12?

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert has had an incredible week so far. Will it cap things off with a brand new episode on Friday night?

Stephen Colbert has been late night TV’s go-to host for reaction to former President Donald Trump’s impeachment trial. The Late Show host has been amused, angered, and outright shocked in his monologues this week.

With the revelations from today’s proceedings, fans would have to assume that Colbert is feeling a mix of all those emotions. But we won’t get to hear what the comedian has to say about it tonight.

There will not be a new episode of The Late Show. Once again, Colbert and his crew are taking Friday night off.

Instead, CBS will reair Colbert’s Super Bowl special episode. Audiences can revisit his interviews with Robert Downey, Jr. and Tiffany Haddish as well as catch Metallica perform “Enter Sandman.”

It’s more bad news for Late Show fans hoping to hear from Colbert on Monday. The show is set to take a break throughout next week.
