Who’s on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight, February 9?
By Matt Moore
The Late Show with Stephen Colbert has a lot to talk about on Tuesday. The CBS late night show has the perfect lineup for tonight’s all-new episode.
The second impeachment trial of President Donald Trump began today as both sides made the case for why the trial is constitutional. Stephen Colbert previewed the trial during his monologue on Monday, arguing that the former president has no defense for his role in the Capitol insurrection.
Fans can expect a full breakdown of today’s events during The Late Show‘s new episode tonight. Colbert will have plenty of material after the display put on by former President Trump’s lawyers.
Then, things will turn to the guest portion of the show. And Colbert has the perfect lead guest to get things started.
Last Week Tonight host John Oliver will be first on up The Late Show. Besides both hosting a late night show, Oliver and Colbert are also former Daily Show correspondents.
Expect them to discuss the challenges that come with doing a late night show during such abnormal times. Last Week Tonight starts its new season on Sunday night, so fans should get an idea of what Oliver has in store.
Tonight’s musical guest is Ingrid Andress. Her debut album Lady Like was released in March 2020 and was nominated for the Best Country Album Grammy.
