New week, new month, new The Late Show? What should fans expect to see from Stephen Colbert tonight?

Colbert finished last week off with a special episode focused on President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. The Late Show is so relieved for a return to normalcy in the White House that it decided to take a look back at the first three weeks of the new administration.

Expect more of the same tonight as Colbert kicks off February. There will be a brand new episode of The Late Show.

The show should bring audiences up to speed on the latest pandemic news and vaccine developments. And even though his name won’t be spoken, former President Donald Trump is sure to get some coverage ahead of his impeachment trial.

When it comes time for the guests, Colbert will be speaking with actor Ethan Hawke. He’ll be promoting his new novel A Bright Ray of Darkness about a Broadway actor dealing with fame, divorce, and more.

Hawke has a few interesting acting roles on the horizon as well that may come up on The Late Show. He was recently cast in the Disney+ series Moon Knight from Marvel. He’s also filming The Northman, described as a Viking revenge thriller, with Nicole Kidman, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Alexander Skarsgard. Later this year he’ll star along with Jake Gyllenhaal in the crime thriller The Guilty for Netflix.

Tonight’s musical guest is Mickey Guyton. The country music star released the album Bridges last year.
