The Late Show with Stephen Colbert is back tonight with another brand new episode. Stephen Colbert will look to build on the momentum from Monday night.

In a sign of things to come, Monday night’s show added a little more variety compared to the usual “Trump Watch” that has dominated the monologue and other segments. Colbert did provide an update from Washington but also turned his attention to stories like water becoming a commodity and the upcoming Super Bowl.

Fans will probably be in for more of the same tonight. Besides Colbert’s desire to scale back his political coverage, there just isn’t the same kind of headlines to lampoon in the Biden presidency. Tonight’s Late Show guests also put the focus on entertainment over politics.

Colbert is set to talk with Colin Firth and Stanley Tucci, stars of the upcoming film Supernova. The duo play partners who travel to the Lake District of England to reunite with friends and family after Tucci’s character is diagnosed with dementia.

The film has received incredible reviews and the performances of both Firth and Tucci have been applauded.

Tonight’s musical guest is Adrianne Lenker. She released the albums Songs and Instrumentals in Oct. 2020.
