Jimmy Kimmel Live! has been on top of its game in 2021. Will that trend continue tonight to kick off another week of new shows?
Thanks in part to his coverage of the election, President Donald Trump’s meltdown, and everything that came after, Jimmy Kimmel has been second only to Stephen Colbert in the ratings.
But like Colbert, Kimmel is eager to move on from former President Trump and get back to a late night show that doesn’t have to react to every tweet or scandal coming from the White House. Tonight’s show should help move things in that direction.
There will be a brand new episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! tonight. Keep reading for a preview of what to expect.
Who is on Jimmy Kimmel Live! tonight?
First, Kimmel will interview actor Dax Shepard. He currently hosts the Fox game show Spin the Wheel. He also has his very popular podcast “Armchair Expert” which recently had Justin Timberlake on as a guest.
But tonight, Shepard will be promoting season two of Top Gear America, a motoring show based on the British version. Shepard co-hosts with Rob Corddry and Jethro Bovingdon.
Then, filmmaker John Wilson joins the show. He’ll discuss his comedy docuseries How to with John Wilson on HBO. Season two of the series, executive produced by Nathan Fielder, is set to premiere this year.
Tonight’s musical guest is I Don’t Know How But They Found Me. The duo’s album Razzmatazz was released in Oct. 2020.
