First, Jimmy Fallon will interview actress Rosario Dawson. She had a very impressive end to 2020, highlighted by her role as Ahsoka Tano in season two of The Mandalorian. That was followed by the news Dawson will lead a spinoff series Ahsoka on Disney+.
Expect Fallon to ask Dawson about that experience. He should also get Dawson to recap her experience attending President Joe Biden’s inauguration as the guest of her boyfriend, Senator Cory Booker.
Then, Daveed Diggs joins the show. Season two of his show Snowpiercer is set to premiere on Jan. 25. It comes after a busy 2020 for Diggs who saw Hamilton come to Disney+ and also lent his voice to the animated hit Soul.
Tonight’s musical guest is Amanda Shires featuring Jason Isbell. Her latest song is “Our Problem.”
