Jimmy Kimmel’s best superhero moments: Avengers Family Feud
We jump back to the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the next entry on the list. Beyond the beloved characters and epic storytelling, the popularity of the MCU can be credited to the performers bringing the heroes and villains to life.
The chemistry among Marvel actors and more specifically the original Avengers cannot be denied. Cast interviews featuring Robert Downey, Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, and the rest usually feature contagious laughter and a viral moment or two.
A perfect example of this is the Family Feud style game that Jimmy Kimmel cooked up to promote Avengers: Age of Ultron in 2015. The cast proved that they would do just as well as the stars of an ensemble comedy as they are as stars of a blockbuster superhero action movie.
And once again, it’s Chris Evans who is the star of the show. Between yelling “outrageous!” when things didn’t go his way or blatantly disregarding the rules, Evans was in it to win it on the Family Feud stage.
The success of this game would be the inspiration for more segments on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. The Avengers would return to play “Guess the Avenger,” take on an art challenge, and more following 2015’s Family Feud showdown.
