What should The Late Show with Stephen Colbert fans expect to see tonight on CBS?

It’s the start of a brand new week and with it, the start of a very big week of late night television. What does that mean for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert?

Fans haven’t heard from Stephen Colbert since Thursday. Friday night’s episode of The Late Show was a special that revisited the comedian’s 2019 trip to New Zealand. It was a chance to applaud the nation for containing the novel coronavirus as well as a chance for Colbert to show of his Lord of the Rings knowledge.

But there is a lot to get to from the weekend and from today alone. Expect Colbert to cover it all and more on tonight’s brand new episode of The Late Show.

Colbert’s first guest will be Chance the Rapper. His Christmas project with Jeremih Merry Christmas Lil’ Mama recently became available so that should definitely be one of the topics on the table.

Then, actor Christopher Walken joins the show. The legendary performer’s latest project is the film Wild Mountain Thyme that hit theaters on Dec. 11.

Singer and actress Laura Benanti is also scheduled to make an appearance. Late Show fans know her as “Melania Trump” but the talented Benanti is also a producer on the upcoming HBO Max film Homeschool Musical: Class of 2020.
