Late night TV has some serious star power this week

Late night TV guests this week on Late Night with Seth Meyers

Late Night with Seth Meyers is best known for “A Closer Look.” Fans can trust that Seth Meyers and his writers will have a couple more of the popular segment in store this week as the electoral college certifies its vote.

So our advice? Come to Late Night for the political humor but stay for the celebrity guests. Like everyone else, Meyers is welcoming some of the biggest newsmakers around to his show this week.

Music fans will especially want to pay attention to Late Night‘s lineup. Monday night, The Chicks and Christina Aguilera are both scheduled to appear. On Thursday, Carrie Underwood checks in and should promote her Christmas album My Gift. A musical special inspired by the album was released on HBO Max.

If you still prefer political talk from Meyers, then this is also the week to watch. On Tuesday, political journalist Mehdi Hasan joins the show. He can currently be seen hosting The Mehdi Hasan Show on Peacock.

On Wednesday, Stacey Abrams is scheduled to chat with Meyers. The politician is credited with playing a major role in turning Georgia blue during the presidential election. Expect Meyers to ask her about the keys to Democrats winning the Senate runoff elections next month.

Amanda Seyfried, Craig Robinson, and Kristen Wiig are also slated to appear on Late Night this week.
