Is The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon new tonight, December 9?
By Matt Moore
What should The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon fans expect to see tonight on NBC?
Right now, Jimmy Fallon is one of the busiest people in all of late night television. So what does that mean for tonight’s episode of The Tonight Show?
In addition to his duties as host of The Tonight Show, Fallon has been a guest on Late Night with Seth Meyers and is out promoting his new children’s book Five More Sleeps Until Christmas. This comes after Fallon was part of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and launched a line of pajamas to raise money for charity, continuing a trend he started when the pandemic began.
It will be back to his day (or night) job on Wednesday. There will be a brand new episode of The Tonight Show.
First, Fallon will talk with Jon Hamm. The actor will discuss his new movie Wild Mountain Thyme. Expect Hamm to also give a tease about his role in Top Gun: Maverick coming next year.
Then, Meghan Trainor joins the show. The singer released A Very Trainor Christmas in Oct. and the single “I Believe In Santa” is set to be released on Dec. 10.
Earth, Wind & Fire will also be on the show. The legendary band collaborated with Trainor for the song “Holidays” so expect a performance of the single tonight.
