Is Saturday Night Live new tonight, November 28?
By Matt Moore
What should Saturday Night Live fans expect to see tonight on NBC?
Saturday Night Live has been off for the past two weeks. Is tonight the night the show gets back to work?
Season 46 started with a bang and through six consecutive weeks of shows, Saturday Night Live saw strong ratings. It was boosted in part by the election as well as contributions from Jim Carrey, Maya Rudolph, and Alec Baldwin acting as honorary cast members.
It is unusual for SNL to do that many shows in a row without a break so it was no surprise to see the show take a break after the Nov. 7 episode hosted by Dave Chappelle. So when can fans expect to see SNL return?
Well, it won’t be tonight. With Thanksgiving earlier this week, there will not be a new episode of Saturday Night Live.
The show returns on Dec. 5. Jason Bateman will host for the second time and musical guest Morgan Wallen will join him.
