Is The Late Show with Stephen Colbert new tonight, November 12?
By Matt Moore
What should The Late Show with Stephen Colbert fans expect to see tonight on CBS?
November is not even two weeks old yet but it feels like we’ve been in it for quite some time. The Late Show with Stephen Colbert has been there every step of the way so what should fans expect to see tonight?
Stephen Colbert has been on an emotional ride since the month began. He was at first calm going into election day before taking a serious, somber tone in response to President Donald Trump’s theatrics. Then it was time for The Late Show to celebrate as Joe Biden was declared the winner and Team Trump’s efforts to overturn the election have sputtered.
With President Trump’s lawsuits losing steam and Joe Biden going forward with his preparations, Colbert should be in a good mood tonight. There will be a brand new episode of The Late Show.
Colbert’s first guest will be filmmaker Michael Moore. The two will no doubt break down Joe Biden’s victory and President Trump’s post-election behavior.
Then musician Sara Bareilles joins the show. She released the album More Love: Songs from Little Voice Season One in Sept. to coincide with the Apple TV+ series Little Voice. Bareilles is also participating in a fundraising event to benefit the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence in which she’ll reunite with actresses from the Broadway hit Waitress.
