What should The Late Show with Stephen Colbert fans expect to see tonight on CBS?

After a stressful, tense, and chaotic week, late night television may be just what the doctored ordered. Will that include a brand new episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert?

Stephen Colbert is coming off a busy week. On election night, he hosted a live special on Showtime. Then it was back to work on CBS as the country waited for an official result to come in on the race between Joe Biden and Donald Trump. Colbert’s week included delivering an impassioned monologue that called on Republicans to stand up in the face of President Trump’s attack on the election’s integrity.

That is looking less and less likely to happen even as Team Trump’s fraud allegations become less and less likely to stick. It will be interesting to see what kind of mood Colbert is in tonight.

Yes, there will be a brand new episode of The Late Show on Monday night. Keep reading to find out who will be joining Stephen Colbert.

First, Colbert will speak with Stacey Abrams. The politician and former member of Georgia’s House of Representatives was instrumental in turning her state blue in support of Joe Biden. Expect her to tell Colbert how that was possible and what her plan is for the two Senate run-off elections scheduled for Jan. 2021.

Then, actor Thomas Middleditch will join the show. The former Silicon Valley star can now be seen in the sitcom B Positive that debuted on CBS on Nov. 5. It should be a nice break from all the election talk.
