Is The Late Show with Stephen Colbert new tonight, October 30?
By Matt Moore
What should The Late Show with Stephen Colbert fans expect to see tonight on CBS?
We’ve reached the end of the week and have moved that much closer to election night. Like the rest of the country, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert is wrapping up its coverage as we head towards Nov. 3.
It’s hard to imagine what The Late Show would be like without President Donald Trump in office. But Stephen Colbert is more than happy to see that reality come true as his monologues continue to paint the president as unfit for office and portray former Vice President Joe Biden as the man for the job.
Expect that message to continue on Friday night. There will be a brand new episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on CBS.
The first guest of the night will be astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson. A friend of the show, Tyson made headlines recently when he said that an asteroid could potentially hit Earth the day before the election. Let’s hope he provides a more optimistic update tonight.
Speaking of friends, the second guest tonight is former Daily Show host Jon Stewart. It was recently announced that Stewart will host a current affairs show on Apple, so he should offer Colbert some details on that as well as weigh in on the election.
