What should The Late Show with Stephen Colbert fans expect to see tonight on CBS?

The week in late night television got off to a strong start thanks in part to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Things are sure to continue trending in that direction tonight.

Stephen Colbert kicked off the week by tackling yet another outbreak within the Trump administration. He followed that up with an excellent interview with Sacha Baron Cohen in which the actor shared a never-before-seen clip of the danger he faced while filming Borat: Subsequent Moviefilm.

Tonight should be the same blend of COVID commentary and comedy. There will be a brand new episode of The Late Show.

First, Colbert will talk with Dr. Sanjay Gupta. As the chief medical correspondent for CNN, Dr. Gupta has been providing context and insight on the pandemic since the beginning. He and Colbert should get into why cases continue to spike and what, if anything, the current administration can do about it.

Then things shift to comedy as Colbert welcomes Sarah Cooper to the show. The TikTok star is promoting her new Netflix special Sarah Cooper: Everything’s Fine.
