What should The Late Show with Stephen Colbert fans expect to see tonight on CBS?

A big night of television is planned for Thursday as President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden square off in a final debate. It also means a big night is planned for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

Another debate seemed unlikely after the debacle that was the first one and President Trump dropping out of a scheduled second event. But we’re closing in on Election Day and the candidates are ready to make their final pitches to the American people.

Stephen Colbert has been going live after debates from the primaries to the VP debate and of course to the presidential debates. These episodes showcase the talent of Colbert and his writing staff as they put together quality monologues on the fly.

Fans can expect more of the same tonight. The Late Show will be new and it will be live tonight.

Joining Colbert will be New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. He’s been in the spotlight throughout the pandemic and has gone head-to-head with President Trump in the past, so he should have a unique perspective on things.

Singer Matt Berninger will perform as well. His album Serpentine Prison was released on Oct. 16.
