What should Saturday Night Live fans expect to see tonight on NBC?

It has been a relatively quiet week on the late-night television front. But all that can change with a brand new episode of Saturday Night Live.

The start of SNL’s 46th season hasn’t exactly set the world on fire despite strong ratings for the premiere hosted by Chris Rock. The show always gets an election year bump and 2020 was no different, especially with Jim Carrey joining the show to play former Vice President Joe Biden.

But given SNL credit–the show improve from episode one to episode two. Host Bill Burr ruffled some feathers with his monologue but the sketches were strong and some of the rust wore off for the cast and crew.

SNL will look to keep that momentum going tonight. There will be a brand new episode hosted by Insecure star Issa Rae with musical guest Justin Bieber. You can read Last Night On’s preview right here, including a look into Melissa Villasenor’s absence through the first two weeks of season 46.
