What should The Late Show with Stephen Colbert fans expect to see tonight on CBS?

It’s finally Friday and a much-deserved one, too. We’ve all been through a very long week and that usually calls for ending it with The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

Stephen Colbert has done his best to get audiences through the week. He of course covered the first presidential debate, going live immediately after the event to call President Donald Trump a “giant baby.”

He followed that up by continuing to dissect the most talked-about moments from the debate. Colbert proved once again that The Late Show will be the go-to destination for election coverage in late-night television.

Is The Late Show with Stephen Colbert new tonight?

Like the rest of the country, Stephen Colbert was understandably exhausted this week covering all things politics. He can be forgiven for getting a head start on his weekend.

There will not be a new episode of The Late Show tonight. Instead, CBS will reair the show from Tuesday, Sept. 29. Audiences will be able to relive Colbert’s debate coverage, his interview with Senator Cory Booker, and a performance by Public Enemy.

Colbert will be back on Monday. He’s got an excellent lineup of guests planned that features some big names from entertainment and politics. Stay tuned.
