The Daily Show announced fans can vote in the inaugural Pandemmy Awards

The Daily Show with Trevor Noah got an early start on award season last night. And rather than let the pandemic turn things upside down, the late-night show is using it to launch the Pandemmy Awards.

On Sunday night, the entertainment world will come together (virtually) for the Primetime Emmy Awards. Host Jimmy Kimmel has a unique challenge in front of him as the nominees are spread out around the world. It will be a must-see event if only to witness how, or if, Kimmel and company pull it off.

But if you’re looking to get your award show fix sooner and to get involved in the process, The Daily Show has what you need. Enter The Pandemmys.

The Pandemmys celebrate “the most breathtaking achievements of this pandemic season.” Fans will have the chance to go online and vote in several categories. Trevor Noah showcased some of the nominees last night on The Daily Show.

The Daily Show has 12 categories for the Pandemmy Awards

The Daily Show had the difficult task of narrowing down the field for nominees in categories like “Most Optimistic Performance” and “Best Karen.” Now fans have the impossible responsibility of voting for winners in these categories and more.

If you want to have your voice heard and help make Pandemmy history, then you have to get out and vote. Visit pandemmyawards.com to pick the winners.

Here are a few of the other categories that Daily Show fans can vote in for the Pandemmys:

  • Wrongest Trump Prediction
  • Biggest Mask Freak-Out
  • Best Cure
  • Outstanding Achievement in Wishful Thinking
