Saturday Night Live alum Jason Sudeikis pulls double duty
Late-night television fans will already be thrilled that The Late Show with Stephen Colbert is back this week. After two weeks off, the show returns to CBS tonight albeit from a different location than Colbert’s home or the Ed Sullivan Theater.
Saturday Night Live fans will want to watch on Wednesday, Aug. 12. Stephen Colbert will chat with Jason Sudeikis an SNL cast member from 2005 to 2013.
Sudeikis will be promoting his new series Ted Lasso coming to Apple TV+ on Aug. 14. The show is based on a character Sudekis played to promote NBC Sports’ coverage of the English Premier League. Sudeikis portrays an American football coach who finds himself the manager of a Premier League squad.
Colbert may also be curious about how Sudekis feels about the presidential election. A win for former Vice President Joe Biden could mean a very busy fall for Sudeikis.
For fans who want even more Jason Sudeikis, they can catch him on The Late Late Show with James Corden this week too. That show also returns from a hiatus and welcomes Sudeikis on Thursday, Aug. 13.
Sudeikis will likely have his Premier League knowledge put to the test by the British James Corden. The Late Late Show host is a noted supporter of West Ham United and may be curious if Sudekis has picked a team of his own to follow.
