What should Real Time with Bill Maher fans expect to see tonight?
It’s Friday and late night television fans know what that means: it’s Real Time with Bill Maher‘s turn in the spotlight. So what should they expect to see tonight on HBO?
As usual, there is no shortage of discussion topics for a show like Real Time with Bill Maher. The novel coronavirus pandemic is still spiking in several states. President Donald Trump maintains everything is under control and is planning more rallies. Meanwhile, former Vice President Joe Biden made another campaign speech as he makes his push for the White House.
Not surprisingly, Bill Maher has focused more on the pandemic than the election. He has continually addressed the environmental aspects of COVID-19 and how American food habits can help prevent another crisis. With more cases reported in the first week of July, Maher clearly has a lot more preaching to do.
Will he get his chance tonight? Or is it another week off the air for Real Time with Bill Maher?
Sorry fans, but there will not be a new episode tonight. Bill Maher and company are off for a second consecutive week. The show is scheduled to return on July 31 as part of its annual summer hiatus.
The timing isn’t ideal but at the same time, the current social and political climate ensures that there is always at least a few major stories every week. So while Maher won’t be able to discuss some stories as they happen, you can be sure there will be something waiting for him when he returns at the end of the month.
