Ironically, Jimmy Kimmel was on stage during the best episode of his show with a guest host. In 2013, Matt Damon got perhaps his best revenge on Kimmel when he took over the show’s 10th-anniversary special in 2013.
Damon rebranded the show “Jimmy Kimmel Sucks!” and got some help from the biggest names in Hollywood to honor/roast Kimmel. Andy Garcia, Cheryl Crow, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Robert De Niro, Jennifer Lopez, and Sarah Silverman were just some of the names assisting Damon as host. Special recognition goes to Robin Williams who gave his Good Will Hunting co-star a hand during the monologue.
The episode featured everything that we’ve highlighted on this countdown. An excellent monologue, hilarious bits, and pre-recorded sketches, and entertaining interviews all came together in one show. And the fact that it was guest-hosted by Kimmel’s nemesis helped make it one of the most popular and memorable episodes in Jimmy Kimmel Live! history.
